The androgenic treatment for the management of acne provides its active ingredient, Doxycillin monohydrate. Each tablet contains doxycycline monohydrate in an amount equivalent to 100 mg of doxycycline anhydrous. Doxycycline belongs to a group of medications called tetracyclines, which are broad-spectrum antibiotics. It is active against a wide variety of bacteria or germs that cause numerous infections. It is indicated in the treatment of certain infections caused by sensitive microorganisms that are of varied origin and location.
