With age, pregnancy, and hormonal changes, many women develop changes in vaginal tissue that can be both functionally and psychologically stressful. Until recently, treatment options were limited to topical treatments or invasive surgeries. There are now safe, effective and comfortable procedures that treat dryness, laxity and sexual dysfunction.
What is it? FORM V?
It is a fractional radiofrequency device that provides uniform heating of the vaginal mucosa and submucosa at a controlled temperature. This treatment favors the vascularization of the vaginal tissue and the activation of the metabolism of fibroblasts, cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin. This generates an improvement in the function of the vaginal mucosa that translates into better lubrication and tightening of the vaginal wall (rejuvenation). Additionally, the external appearance of the genitals can be improved.
How does it work?
A wand is introduced that emits heat through radiofrequency, promoting tightening of the vagina.
Indicated for:
Vaginal dryness. Vaginal laxity. Discomfort or pain during sexual intercourse.
Number of sessions 1-3 sessions depending on the severity of the dysfunction. The procedure is not invasive or painful and lasts 30 minutes. Once the procedure is completed, no downtime or special care is required.
