Vitamin C is an important antioxidant. It protects other vitamins from oxidation, it is very useful in the prevention of degenerative diseases and for muscle recovery after physical exercise.
It contributes to the elimination of toxic and/or carcinogenic substances and intervenes in lung detoxification.
It is of great importance for the functioning and balance of the nervous system, for the adaptation of the body to stress situations, it collaborates in the maintenance of blood cholesterol levels, improves the use of glucose and intervenes in the synthesis of Carnitine.
In combination with bioflavonoids, it stimulates the synthesis and renewal of collagen and participates in the synthesis of elastin, chondroitin and other constituent molecules of the skin and joints.
